Pam R. Miller

Pam Miller is a licensed, clinical, professional counselor and is board certified with the National Counselors Association. She has more than 15 years of experience working with couples, adults, teens and adolescents. She has advanced training and experience in the treatment of trauma in adults and children. Pam is a Senior Training Specialist, Certified TARGET Trainer, Fidelity Monitor & Coach for Northwestern University, training clinicians on the biological, psychological and behavioral impacts of trauma on the brain. Pam utilizes EMDR, CBT, and DBT with clients to help them to heal. She focuses her clinical work in the areas of Anxiety, Depression, Trauma/PTSD and couples or relationship issues. Miller is also an approved Associate Sex Offender Treatment Provider with the Sex Offender Management Board in Illinois.
Lisa M. Rankin
LCPC, NCC, SOMB
Lisa Rankin is a licensed, clinical, professional and nationally certified counselor with over 15 years of experience. Ms Rankin is a certified psychophysiologist and holds certifications in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy). Lisa is an experienced crisis clinician. She has been instrumental in working with law enforcement agencies during high risk situations. Rankin is a veteran of the Army National Guard serving as a specialist from 1994-2000.
Rankin is also an approved and certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider and Evaluator with the Sex Offender Management Board in Illinois for both adults and juveniles.
Dennis Pearson is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Certified Counselor and a Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counselor, with a Master of Science degree in Counseling with a Specialization in Clinical Mental Health. He is specializing in working with couples who would like to improve the communication in their relationship, or heal relationship wounds. He has experience working with mental health issues including: trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, self-harm, anger management, domestic violence, grief and loss, psychotic disorders, suicidal ideation and substance abuse disorders. He provides his clients a nonjudgmental and safe environment to explore the issues that keep them from living the life they want. Dennis joined our clinical team 10/10/2016.

Sarah Malak is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Illinois: Urbana-Champaign. She works primarily with children as young as 3 years old, and up through young adults, using a variety of play therapy, CBT, and DBT strategies. She also works with families. She has experience working with individuals with trauma, depression, anxiety, or mood disorders, anger or behavioral issues, ADD/ADHD, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. She provides a client-centered atmosphere in which clients and their families can explore problems and identify healthy solutions. Sarah joined our team in January 2018.
